WGH Girls Track Indoor State Champs

This past weekend, Saturday, March 7, 2015, the Warren G. Harding Girl�s Track Team competed in the OAT & CCC Division I Indoor State Championships at the University of Akron. These fine young women made school and program history by winning the Division I Indoor State Championship in the 4x200-meter relay.

This was a significant accomplishment being the first Girl�s Track State Championship in the programs history (Indoor or Outdoor) and the first for Warren G. Harding since 1923 when the Girls� Basketball Team won the AAA State Title.

To honor this great accomplishment, The Warren Sports Hall of Fame will be purchasing rings for each member of the relay team (Chyna Stroud, Nautica Hill, Aisha Jackson, and Gariana Bercheni) and one additional ring to be displayed at the High School to be viewed alongside the other state championship rings.
